Face Painting at Tonic Nightclub
I did three days of face painting at Tonic Nightclub, November 13, 14, and 15 for their 9 year “Birthday Party”. They had Face Painting, Cotton Candy… even a Bounce House! It was a lot of fun!
Saturday is the big parade, but the festival continues on Sunday! As if doing henna all day Saturday wasn’t enough, Amber and I came back for more. It was a lot less hectic and we got a chance to walk around the festival and see some other booths.
We managed to trade henna tattoos for some floral headbands! Here we are, drinking buckets of lemonade with giant lemons bobbing in them:

and “the best five bucks ever spent”!
This weekend we hit up Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Festival, with a face painting and henna booth!
Here are some pictures of the booth and my helpers. Chris was the cashier, Angelina the Glitter/Bindi girl, and Eliana was an apprentice henna artist.
Here are my amazing henna artists: Amber, Shauna, and Kristy.
And of course, here are some pictures of our work:
So excited about this new face painting business card image! Thanks to my sisters Eliana (Dia de los Muertos Skull), Angelina (Rainbow Peacock) and little Mikayla (tiger) for their patience in taking this photo. I’m crazy about it. I used some of my fun new materials, like shimmer powder and hair chalks.
